THE TYPESPRY FIELD NOTES

A quieter place to practice.

Typespry is an independent typing practice project.

Typespry brings short speed tests, focused keyboard lessons, and personal progress into one simple space. The idea is straightforward: make it easy to practice today and see a reason to come back tomorrow.

Who runs Typespry

Typespry is operated by Roman Afsar. For support, privacy questions, or account requests, use the details on Help & contact.

What you can do here

Choose a timed test, a word count, an original passage, a code snippet, or your own practice text. Follow the beginner lessons, retry the words you missed, and take a date-based daily challenge. All current practice features are free.

Your progress, on your terms

No account is required. Guest session detail, streak activity, lesson milestones, typing statistics and preferences are stored locally on your device. If you sign in, Typespry stores account-related data in Supabase and syncs saved progress across devices. Preferences stay in your browser. Export your recent session history as a CSV or download a progress backup before clearing browser data if you want to keep a copy.

An honest score

Results are for personal practice, not verified professional certification. Different durations, word sets, and devices produce different scores. We explain our scoring method so you can compare your sessions fairly.

Free to begin

All current practice features remain free, with no paid subscriptions. A separate area below the app is reserved for clearly labeled advertising. Google ads may appear there when advertising is enabled; they stay outside the typing card. See the privacy notice for advertising information.
