TYPESPRY PRACTICE GUIDE

A daily typing challenge for your next small step

Three settings. A fresh local date. A reason to practice today.

Typespry's Daily challenge section gives you three date-based typing exercises. Choose everyday words, punctuation practice or a longer session, then review your WPM and accuracy together. Challenges run in the Daily section, and guest practice does not require an account.

Daily flow: 60 seconds

Daily flow uses Everyday English without the punctuation setting. It is a useful way to observe a steady word-typing rhythm. The countdown begins on your first text input.

Daily precision: 60 seconds

Daily precision adds punctuation to the everyday word set. Give capitals and symbols deliberate attention. Compare its result with another precision attempt rather than a punctuation-free flow session.

Daily endurance: 120 seconds

Daily endurance uses Expanded English for two minutes. Watch whether you keep the same rhythm into the later part of the test. A sustainable opening pace can make the pace chart more useful than an early burst.

How the daily date works

Challenge text is based on the local calendar date on your device. For the same challenge, date and content version, the exercise is repeatable. People in different time zones can be on different local dates, so agree on the date and challenge before comparing a result with a friend.

An idle daily exercise can refresh after midnight. A test already in progress keeps its original challenge date and is not interrupted by the date change. Restarting prepares the challenge using the current date.

Read today’s results in context

The Daily overview shows the latest completed daily attempts for your current date, while each challenge card shows a saved best result for that challenge today when one is available. The chart displays WPM; the result card also shows accuracy, typing time, incorrect attempts and the pace through the test.

Flow, precision and endurance have different settings. Compare the same challenge before treating a score change as progress. The scoring guide explains why text settings and duration affect the comparison.

Make the next attempt more focused

Use Practice missed words to revisit the words that caused trouble while staying in the challenge section. Retry same text lets you repeat the completed prompt. Use All challenges to return to the Daily overview, or choose a focused drill when a particular key or transition needs work.

Daily results are personal practice records, not an identity-verified competition or certificate. The Invite a friend option shares a public challenge link rather than account details.

Keep your practice progress

Guest progress stays in this browser. Signing in allows saved progress to sync when connected. For longer-term records, use the backup and CSV options in Progress. The Typespry FAQ explains sync status and result handling.
